What we have here is a very unique and special amplifier. This is an Innersound DPR-500 amplifier chassis with Innersound ESL 330 amplifier electronics installed.
The original DPR-500 chassis is built like a bank vault. It consists of a 100% machined, bead blasted, and anodized aluminum chassis with walls 3/8" thick. It is a really magnificent chassis!
This particular chassis was a one-off that was anodized black instead of the usual silver. It has gold engraving. This is the only black DPR-500 in existence.
These amplifiers were built by Coda Technologies for Innersound. When Innersound went out of business, Coda still had some parts for their amplifiers. So Coda assembled this amplifier as a NOS product using all new parts. Although the amp is listed on our used equipment page, it is really a brand new amplifier that is warranted by Coda.
Basic specifications are as follows:
Power -- 330 watts/channel @ 8 ohms, 600 w/c @ 4 ohms. These are continuous power ratings, both channels driven.
Distortion -- less than 0.01%
Signal/Noise Ratio -- 120 dB
Damping factor -- greater than 800
